Video: Brazilian Prospect Thomas Almeida Improves to 16-0

Thomas Almeida, one of Brazil’s hottest young prospects, kept his perfect record intact over the weekend with a stoppage win in the main event of MMA Super Heroes 3 in Sao Paulo.

The 22-year old Chute Boxe fighter, who was named “Best Fighter” at last month’s Osvaldo Paqueta Awards, took out Vinicius Zani in the fourth round of their bantamweight title fight. The win moved Almeida’s record to 16-0, with all but two of those victories coming in the opening round.
