By The Numbers: UFC 310 Pre-Fight Edition


Alexandre Pantoja will defend his undisputed Ultimate Fighting Championship flyweight title when he takes aim at Kai Asakura in the UFC 310 headliner on Saturday at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Meanwhile, undefeated welterweight contenders Shavkat Rakhmonov and Ian Garry do battle in the five-round co-main event at 170 pounds.

As UFC 310 “Pantoja vs. Asakura” approaches, a look at some of the numbers the fighters on the docket bring to the table:

80: Rounds started by Pantoja as a professional mixed martial artist. He has involved the judges on 15 different occasions and carries a 10-5 record in those bouts.

4: Men other than Asakura who have held the Rizin Fighting Federation bantamweight championship. Kyoji Horiguchi, Manel Kape, Juan Archuleta and Naoki Inoue comprise the exclusive list.

100: Percent finish rate for Rakhmonov. He has delivered all 18 of his victories by knockout, technical knockout or submission, nine of them inside one round.

62: Seconds needed for Bryce Mitchell to put away Jorge Medina with a rear-naked choke under the World Series of Fighting banner on Jan. 23, 2016. Nearly nine years later, it remains his fastest finish to date. Mitchell tackles Kron Gracie in a three-round featherweight feature.

5: Gracie victories by submission, accounting for 100% of his career total. His methods of choice: three rear-naked chokes, one triangle choke and one armbar.

13: Consecutive calendar years in which Nate Landwehr has fought at least once. In addition to his 1-0 mark in 2024, the former M-1 Global champion went 2-0 in 2012, 1-1 in 2013, 1-0 in 2014, 2-1 in 2015, 2-0 in 2016, 2-0 in 2017, 2-0 in 2018, 1-0 in 2019, 1-1 in 2020, 1-1 in 2021, 1-0 in 2022 and 1-1 in 2023. Landwehr toes the line against Doo Ho Choi in a three-round featherweight appetizer.

6: Companies for which Choi has plied his MMA trade. Beyond the UFC, he has worked for Deep, Gladiator, Sengoku, M-1 Global and Grachan.

23: Years of age for Joshua Van. The youngest fighter on the card, he was born on Oct. 10, 2001 in Hakha, Myanmar. Van meets Cody Durden in a three-round flyweight prelim.

42: Years of age for Clay Guida. The oldest fighter on the card, he was born on Dec. 8, 1981 in Round Lake, Illinois. Guida faces Chase Hooper in a three-round lightweight prelim.

.758: Cumulative winning percentage between the 28 fighters booked to compete at the event. They boast a combined record of 506-160-5. Guida has the most wins (38)—tied with Volkov and Anthony Smith—and most losses (24) of anyone on the card. Smith confronts Dominick Reyes in the featured light heavyweight prelim.
