By The Numbers: UFC Saudi Arabia Pre-Fight Edition


Two-time middleweight titleholder Israel Adesanya will toe the line against Nassourdine Imavov in the UFC Fight Night 250 main event when the Ultimate Fighting Championship sets up shop at anb Arena on Saturday in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Meanwhile, Sharabutdin Magomedov puts his perfect 15-0 record on the line against Michael Page in the three-round middleweight co-headliner at 185 pounds.

Ahead of UFC Fight Night 250 “Adesanya vs. Imavov,” a look at some of the numbers the fighters on the docket bring to the table:

1,289: Days spent by Adesanya as undisputed UFC middleweight champion. The City Kickboxing linchpin held the title from Oct. 5, 2019 to Nov. 12, 2022 and again from April 8, 2023 to Sept. 9, 2023.

9: Countries in which Imavov has plied his mixed martial arts trade. The Khasavyurt, Russia, native has suited up in France, Malta, Poland, Switzerland, Italy, Senegal, the United Arab Emirates, the United States and Canada.

357: Significant strikes landed by the unbeaten Magomedov in his four UFC assignments. He has absorbed 235 such strikes in return.

49: Rounds started by Page as a professional mixed martial artist. The Bellator MMA veteran has involved the judges on eight different occasions and carries a 6-2 record in those bouts.

15: Sergei Pavlovich wins by knockout or technical knockout, accounting for 83% of his career total (18). His list of UFC victims: Curtis Blaydes, Tai Tuivasa, Derrick Lewis, Shamil Abdurakhimov, Maurice Greene and Marcelo Golm. A former Fight Nights Global champion, Pavlovich locks horns with Jairzinho Rozenstruik in a three-round heavyweight showcase.

150,000: Dollars in post-fight bonuses pocketed by Rozenstruik across his 14 appearances inside the Octagon. The American Top Team rep has been awarded “Performance of the Night” three times.

6: Said Nurmagomedov victories by submission, accounting for 33% of his career total (18). His methods of choice: three guillotine chokes, two armbars and one ninja choke. Nurmagomedov confronts Vinicius Oliveira in a three-round bantamweight attraction.

10: Consecutive calendar years in which Oliveira has fought at least once. The onetime UAE Warriors titleholder went 1-0 in 2015, 2-0 in 2016, 7-0 in 2017, 1-1 in 2018, 2-1 in 2019, 1-0 in 2020, 3-0 in 2021, 0-1 in 2022, 2-0 in 2023 and 2-0 in 2024.

27: Years of age for Fares Ziam. The youngest fighter on the card, he was born on March 21, 1997 in Venissieux, France. Ziam faces Mike Davis in a three-round lightweight appetizer.

79: Seconds needed for Davis to stop Erimus Mills under the House of Fame banner on Oct. 29, 2015. More than nine years later, it remains his fastest finish to date.

38: Years of age for Damir Hadzovic. The oldest fighter on the card, he was born on Aug. 8, 1986 in Gorazde, Bosnia-Herzegovina. Hadzovic meets Terrance McKinney in a three-round lightweight prelim.

.811: Cumulative winning percentage between the 22 fighters booked to compete at the event. They boast a combined record of 308-71-2. Adesanya has the most victories (24) of anyone on the card, while Hadzovic and McKinney have been saddled with the most losses (seven).
