TOTAL NUMBER OF KSW FIGHTS: 562
TOTAL NUMBER OF KSW EVENTS: 66

KSW staged an event bolstered by a pair of huge title fights in KSW 60. Although there were no calls of “and new” at the event, there was more than enough action to go around. This event featured an unusually uncommon clean head kick knockout, a heavyweight king taking on all comers and a comeback for the ages.

Wrestling for Dummies: By manhandling Tomasz Narkun in their rematch, Philip De Fries notched his fifth consecutive title defense. He ties the record held by Narkun for the most successful defenses in a row.

Would You Like De Fries with That Again? De Fries is now a perfect 6-0 inside the promotion by beating Narkun. He currently holds the longest unbeaten record of any active KSW fighter, as Mateusz Gamrot left KSW to join the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

Fries Frame: Of De Fries’ six KSW wins, four have now come inside the distance. The heavyweight king is fast approaching the record of six held by Karol Bedorf and Marcin Rozalski. Beyond those two, Mariusz Pudzianowski is the only other fighter with more than De Fries (five).

Startling Level of Competition: The Brit earned his third knockout with the promotion by putting Narkun away with strikes. De Fries holds four career knockouts, and three have come in his last six outings.

Forgotten That Sensation: Narkun suffered his last knockout loss in December 2010, when he retired mid-fight against Vyacheslav Vasilevsky. At that time, De Fries is the only one of the 17 to compete at KSW 60 to have made his professional debut.

And Stay Out: Tapping out Maciej Kazieczko in the second round, Marian Ziolkowski became just the second lightweight champion in KSW history to ever defend his throne. The first was Gamrot, who did so four times at 155 pounds before vacating.

All He Sees Is Gold: “Golden Boy” now posts a career finish rate of 83 percent after finishing Kazieczko, and in the process earned his first submission win since 2017.

BK > Boxing: Stepping in on short notice after competing two weeks prior, Wotore bare knuckle MMA champ and +310 underdog Marek Samociuk scored the biggest betting upset of the night by taking out Izuagbe Ugonoh. After losing the first round badly, Samociuk rebounded to pound out the then-unbeaten Ugonoh early into Round 2.

Patryk Star: Patryk Kaczmarczyk advanced his spotless record to 7-0 by taking a decision over Michal Sobiech. The featherweight has amassed all seven of these wins since turning pro in June 2019.

How Barborik: Vojto Barborik made his successful KSW debut by tapping out Krzysztof Klaczek at the midpoint of the fight. The Slovakian fighter now posts a finish rate of 85 percent after recording his 10th career submission.

Halftime Show: The finish for Barborik came at 2:30 of Round 2, exactly halfway into the match. His triumph is the first in organizational history to take place at this mark of a fight.

A Surdid Affair: Ion Surdu posterized Kacper Koziorzebski with a head kick in the opening round. In the process, Surdu earned just the fourth clean head kick knockout in company history, and the eighth finish overall stemming from a head kick.

Never Say Never Again: Coming into KSW 60, Kazieczko had never been submitted (eight fights), Sobiech had never been defeated (four fights) and Adrian Dudek had never been knocked out (six fights).
