Brock Lesnar to Represent Canada on Reebok Gear at UFC 200
Brock Lesnar is a product of the American Midwest. Born in South Dakota, he attended the University of Minnesota, where he took part in the most Midwestern of collegiate sports, folkstyle wrestling.
However, when the former UFC heavyweight champion returns to the Octagon against Mark Hunt at UFC 200, he will do so wearing the Canadian flag on his Reebok-branded fight gear.
Uproxx.com on Monday noted that Lesnar’s official walkout jersey bears the Canadian maple leaf on its sleeve. Although Reebok has a history of design errors in its apparel for UFC fighters, this is not one of them.

Following his retirement from MMA in 2011, Lesnar purchased a grain farm in Canada, which has since become his primary residence and training grounds. The 38-year-old WWE star recently told ESPN that he would be fighting out of Regina, Saskatchewan, for his UFC return. Saskatchewan has responded with enthusiasm, with Premier Brad Wall recently tweeting his support for the province’s adopted son.
