Emmanuel Sanchez vs. Ashleigh Grimshaw to Headline Bellator MMA Card on March 22

Recent featherweight title challenger Emmanuel Sanchez will headline Bellator MMA’s next visit to Thackerville, Okla., when he locks horns with Ashleigh Grimshaw on March 22.

The California-based promotion announced the 145-pound pairing on Friday night. The card takes place at WinStar World Casino and Resort and will air on Paramount Network and DAZN at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT. Prelims will stream immediately prior on Bellator.com, the Bellator Mobile App and DAZN.

Sanchez saw a four-fight winning streak come to an end at Bellator 209 on Nov. 15, when he dropped a five-round verdict against reigning featherweight king Patricio Freire. “El Matatdor” is 9-3 in Bellator, with wins over the likes of Sam Sicilia, Daniel Straus, Marcos Galvao, Georgi Karakhanyan and Henry Corrales.

A 36-year-old London native, Grimshaw will make his promotional debut on a four-bout winning streak. “The White Wolf” owns a 20-10-1 career mark with three no contests, with 18 of those triumphs coming inside the distance.
