Oliveira from Brazil.

The total match weight and the maximum allowed weight of the 26 athletes at the weigh-in will be about 2464.4 kg, and the day after, on the event day they will weigh even more. Also, 8 local Malmö fighters will be fighting at the show in the largest cage in the world with a wideness of over
10 meters between the walls. Superior Challenge 8 is the first MMA
event held in Malmö Arena and the biggest martial arts event ever

Babak Aghavali, CEO Superior Group International: - This fight card is fantastic and includes many local heroes from Malmö, and a title bout, and three major international bouts. Match-wise it's probably our best fight card to date, and it is topped with some very interesting international athletes such as Jorge Oliveira, James McSweeney and Marcus Davis who will put our Swedish heroes to test. Among our top Swedish names, we have David Bielkheden, Matti Mäkelä and the crane from Rosengård, Ilir Latifi
- I am absolutely convinced that this show will also be very entertaining for those who have never seen either MMA or martial arts before, because of all the "giants" on the card.
- Furthermore, we have placed great emphasis on giving the local crowd whatthey want, namely local Malmö Heroes, such as our huge star Ilir Latifi whowill compete for the organization's first light heavyweight title. I think of course that everyone who has the opportunity should go to Malmö Arena on October 6th and experience the intensive and high adrenaline atmosphere at the event.
