Tyron Woodley Reacts to His Cancelled Fight on 'Inside MMA'

(PRESS RELEASE) -- LOS ANGELES – Following the news today that UFC welterweight contender Johny Hendricks withdrew from his scheduled fight with Tyron Woodley at UFC 192 Saturday, Woodly joined INSIDE MMA to discuss his next steps. During the interview with series host Bas Rutten and guest host Ron Kruck, who filled in for Kenny Rice tonight, Woodley discussed payment for the cancelled fight, a potential welterweight title shot next, and if he would rather face Carlos Condit or Robbie Lawler:

UFC featherweight Ricardo Lamas sat down with Rutten and Kruck tonight in studio where he broke down his upcoming fight with Diego Sanchez Nov. 21 and made picks for Conor McGregor versus Jose Aldo and Chad Mendes versus Frankie Edgar:

Two-time Brazilian Jui-Jitsu champion Rafael Lovato Jr. (2-0) submitted Kevin Holland (4-2) in the co-main event of AXS TV FIGHTS: LEGACY FIGHTING CHAMPION 46 tonight, while Steven Peterson (13-4) scored a unanimous decision victory over Irwin Rivera (4-1) in headlining fight. Other highlights include first round TKO victories for Victory Reyna (6-2) and Sean Holden (4-1), and submission wins for Ricardo Ramos (8-0) and Sean Holden (4-1). Main Event – Bantamweight Fight – Steven Peterson (13-4) defeated Irwin Rivera (4-1) via unanimous decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28).

Middleweight Fight – Rafael Lovato Jr. (2-0) defeated Kevin Holland (4-2) via submission (rear-naked choke) at 1:24 in round one.

Catchweight Fight (130 pounds) – Jason Sampson (13-1) defeated Archie Lowe (6-7) via TKO at 0:54 in round one.

Featherweight Fight – Ricardo Ramos (8-0) defeated Cody Walker (4-3) via submission (armbar) at 2:39 in round one.

Welterweight Fight – Victor Reyna (6-2) defeated Andrew Parker (6-2) via TKO (punches) at 4:50 in round one.

Catchweight Fight (150 pounds) – George Pacurariu (10-4) defeated Eliazar Rodriguez (6-5) via unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28).

Welterweight Fight – Sean Holden (4-1) defeated Dakotah Atnip (0-1) via submission (rear-naked choke) at 3:14 in round one.

Next week’s broadcast of AXS TV FIGHTS: RESURRECTION FIGHTING ALLIANCE 31 features two title fights, including Welterweight Champion Gilbert Smith (11-4), who attempts his first title defense against fellow UFC veteran Bristol Marunde (16-9) in the main event, and a fight for the inaugural women’s strawweight title between Zoila Frausto (12-4) and Jocelyn Jones-Lybarger (5-1).
