XFCi 8 – Taila Santos vs. Poliana Botelho | Women’s International Flyweight Semifinal Live on Rede TV!

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Brazil: The Season II Women's Flyweight Tournament has reached the Semifinal round and will come to you from Campinas, Brazil December 13th, inside Clube Concordia. Advancing to the semi's was an all Brazil cast of Next Generation superstars, who will be on display at XFCi 8. The main card of the night streams live to the World via Rede TV! featuring one of the most anticipated WMMA fights in the industry, when Taila Santos and Poliana Botelho step inside the HeXagon.

The blue corner will be represented by Taila Santos (4-0) who, in her XFC debut at XFCi 6, ferociously defeated American Rachael Cummins via TKO punches in the 1st round. Santos impressed the XFC in her first fight and advanced to the semi-finals of the Season II International Tournament. A native of Jaragua do Sul, SC Brazil and a member of the Astra Fight Team, Santos will bring her undefeated record to the HeXagon for a chance to move on to the Women's Flyweight Tournament Championship.

Poliana Botelho (3-1) awaits her challenger in the red corner after a KO quarterfinal victory over Karina Rodriguez. The Rio de Janeiro, RJ Brazil local brings a 4” height advantage into this semi-final bout, along with her 100% KO/TKO victory rate. Representing team Nova Uniao, Botelho is eager to meet her opponent at XFCi 8 for her opportunity to advance to the Season II Tournament Final.
