The back-and-forth bout between John Castaneda and Eddie Wineland ended late in Round 1. Castaneda clipped the veteran bantamweight with a right hand and continued to assault Wineland with punches. The former WEC bantamweight champion eventually fell to the ground and the referee stepped in.
