Fedor Team’s Moldavsky nearly reached the heights of Bellator heavyweight supremacy but couldn’t figure out Ryan Bader or Linton Vassell. Moldavsky is a talented heavyweight, however, and put the PFL roster on notice with a first-round finish of Ante Delija a year ago. Moldavsky was stunned to miss the playoffs after a second straight loss to Vassell and needs a bounce-back win to rebuild his confidence.

Bilostenniy heads into the tournament surging with confidence after winning his last three fights. The Moscow native is known for his brutal knockouts but showed the world he could be dangerous on the ground with a devastating heel hook stoppage of Tyrell Fortune in his last fight. Bilostenniy is the younger fighter with an edge in momentum. He carries an edge in the stand-up game, too, but Moldavsky may be the better grappler. It seems doubtful that will play into this fight. Moldavsky’s stock has been steadily fading, and his gas tank isn’t his strength. Bilostenniy should look to put his countryman away before the final bell.
