By The Numbers: Petr Yan vs. Deiveson Figueiredo

Another uphill climb awaits Petr Yan in his quest to reclaim the Ultimate Fighting Championship bantamweight throne.

The 5-foot-7 Russian dynamo will collide with Deiveson Figueiredo in the UFC Fight Night 248 main event on Saturday at Galaxy Arena in Macau, China. One of nine men to have held the undisputed bantamweight crown, Yan enters the cage having compiled a 9-4 record inside the Octagon. He last saw action on March 9, when he snapped a three-fight losing streak with a unanimous decision over Yadong Song in their three-round UFC 299 pairing. Figueiredo, meanwhile, has rattled off three straight victories. The two-time flyweight champion last suited up at UFC on ABC 7, where he outpointed Marlon Vera to a unanimous verdict across three rounds on Aug. 3.
