By The Numbers: UFC Fight Night 228

The UFC Fight Night 228 main event was just starting to heat up when it ended in anticlimactic fashion.

Rafael Fiziev suffered an apparent knee injury early in Round 2 of his lightweight showdown with Mateusz Gamrot, collapsing to the canvas in agony after throwing a kick. Gamrot pounced with ground-and-pound on his wounded foe, and the fight was called off at the 2:03 mark of the period. It was a disappointing conclusion to what was shaping up to be a tactical battle, but Gamrot is the beneficiary, winning for the sixth time in his last seven outings.
